Cutters for pet snacks

Our guillotine cutting systems have been especially developed to meet the requirements of modern pet snack manufacturing lines and differ fundamentally from traditional designs. The characteristic features of our modern design are reliability, ease of cleaning and maintenance and extremely accurate cutting.

Because all our cutting machines feature knife travel which is synchronised with the belt speed, they ensure a clean and vertical cut. It is fully balanced giving it the capability of cutting speeds up to 300 per minute. It has multiple axes control, which offer flexibility and ease of operation during product length change overs.

Depending on the required cuts per minute and the witdh of the guillotine cutter, Extrufood has several models guillotine cutters. Some models can be equipped with an ultra-sonic device. This is the best solution for softer and thicker products. However, adding an ultra-sonic device onto a guilltine cutter will limit the maximum amount of cuts/minute somewhat
